He studied composition and arrangement of modern popular music at the Prague Conservatory with Angel Michajlov, Milan Svoboda and Michal Pavlíček. He continued his studies in composition at HAMU with Václav Riedlbauch (2000-09). His work includes classical, jazz, popular and film music. He was awarded the OSA Most Played Young Classical Composer Award in 2008 and nominated for the Alfréd Radok Award for his music for the musical Pornohvězdy (2010). He has staged and realised a number of musicals in the theatres Ta Fantastika, Experimental Space Roxy, Městské divadlo Kladno, Divadlo Petra Bezruče. He is also a member of the vocal group SKETY.
